Beautiful people of Durham Reddit, I was just made aware of two dogs left abandoned in the back of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church (1007 S. Roxboro St). There is a cage that their church van sits in, in the very back and someone has abandoned them in that cage.

I live in the area, but am unfortunately out of town, and can’t go help. They’re pitbull mix adult pups, and one seems not in good health as it appears to not be very mobile.

I don’t know if anyone on here has it in their heart to at least bring them some water, food, blankets…. Or know if someone that can temporally rescue them for the evening… I know it’s going to be cold out tonight and the thought of two pups cold and hungry not only enrages me, but breaks my heart.

If anyone can do anything, please help, and/or contact me via PM, and I will give out any information I have available.
