Hi,

I'd like to move to a SFFPC /smaller build and I'd love some recommendations on what would be the upgrades with the the parts I'm planning on keeping from my current build.

Parts I know I'll Need to Replace:

• CUP Cooler: I'm thinking this one - is there a better/more powerful option? | Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black 82.52 CFM I CPU Cooler |

• Motherboard: This is my main area of concern, I know the least about mono and but am aware there are some are some upgrades coming around the corner... I know there's mATX, ATX and ITX... I am concerned about 1)upgradability options (better video card, CPU at some point) 2) best cooling for a small case and 3) RAM slots and connectivity... this is primarily what is driving the post as I am not sure what to choose for both immediate and long term goals.

  • I was originally thinking I'd go with the [Gigabyte B660I AORUS Pro DDR4 Mini ITX LGA1700 Motherboard], but was politely told it was "hot garbage" lol.

• PSU: Pretty settled on the Corsair SF 750 W 80 Platinum Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply. Seems to be the popular choice but I could be convinced to go for a Silverstone SX750 Platinum/SX800-LTI or SX1000 Platinum if needed or if it'll be better long term.

• Additional Fans: ?

Planning to keep:

Parts I would like to keep for now if it won't compromise the build significantly but upgrade later (if possible):

• Case: I was given a Lian Li TU150 Mini ITX Desktop Case so I'd like to build in that for the time being but eventually move to a better case. I know this limits me in terms of mobo options and am willing to change this is needed have a better build.

• Storage / Memory: I would like to upgrade to nmVe storage/memory in the next few months, but if possible would like to keep my current hardware for the time being (unless it will limit me to worse motherboard options):

  • Memory: ADATA XPG Z1 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL16 Memory
  • Storage: Western Digital Green 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
  • Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
