Edit: Title is supposed to say <$2500 but oh well
First time builder. Will not actually be assembling for a few months, but since GPU prices are good right now I thought I'd start buying/picking out parts. If you think particular parts other than GPU are time sensitive I'd appreciate if you noted that. I am based in the U.S. and can potentially buy at a Microcenter or local PC parts shops.
Budget: ~$2500, happy to spend less, flexible to spend more to get what I want if necessary.
OS: Windows (would prefer not to pay $100 for a license tho so if you know of good places to get a cheaper one lmk)
Peripherals: Already have headphones, already have two 1080p BenQ monitors, but open to getting 1440p and using these for working from home instead (minimal input lag desired). Need everything else, not super picky, will probably pick out cute keyboard, mouse, case, etc myself at some point so no need to pay too much attention to those.
Use: Gaming along with streaming. Have only ever gamed on laptops and it's held me back from trying any more intense AAA-type games. For reference, I'd love to be able to run Baldur's Gate 3 with good graphics while streaming on Discord at 60 FPS without any lag spikes.
Other: Since I'm new to this I'd love to have room to upgrade if needed. I am not super picky about graphics but sick of switching to "Low" quality to prevent massive lag.
Thank you very much for the help - have been kinda overwhelmed by choices!
