Post Body

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what I should be looking for? I have an existing laptop which is approx. 4-5 years old now which has been fine for Office tasks etc. I am now looking to save physical space by ripping DVDs and keeping back ups on a HDD so they can go in the loft. I would also want to carry out some light gaming, such as Age of Empires DE etc.

What should my expected budget be? Or perhaps, whats the best bang for buck? Appreciate beyond certain points you are chasing the last %.

Assume an internal ODD would be faster/more reliable than an external?

Await your thoughts. I already have a mouse, monitor and keyboard which can be used.
