So i just purchased my first pc (prebuilt) and ended up getting a pay bonus at work so I wanted to go head and do a case swap since i hate the one it came in and i wanted to upgrade my ram and power supply. I looked up a few videos but I'm still really confused about things like whether or not I need thermal paste since its brand new and how to check if the power supply is compatible cause the case I'm getting has internal fans that need a micro-atx cable I think it's called. Would anyone be able to explain a few things for me or suggest a good reference source?
