Stuck half way through removing laptop screen
Post Body

I can figure out if I’m able to remove this cable or not. It won’t let me post a picture in reference so this will be tough. I’m disassembling a Lenovo y700 and so far I have removed the brackets for the screen and the cable on the right connecting the screen to the mother board. There is one more on the left though and I went to disconnect it but it looks like it is permanent. Above the connector is a little loop of black ribbon. It looks like a pull cord, but I don’t want to ruin the screen by forcing it apart! Any one have any experience with this?
