As the title says I'm a stay at home dad and my daughter is finally old enough (2) and on a set routine that I can stream on a schedule. I've never built a PC and all the information is crazy overwhelming to me. The most pc experience I have is from watching a bunch of Linus tech videos. Our tax refund is a pretty penny (for me anyways) we're putting the majority of it in savings but my wife said I deserve something nice and is letting me build a PC. I'm currently streaming on a old laptop I bought from Walmart for around $500 4 years ago. It crashes on me a lot now a days. I edit videos on Adobe elements and I have a Logitech 4k brio that I use to stream with. my laptop can only handle my webcam at around 720 streaming and 1080 when recording for a video. I use a elgato hd60 to stream from my ps4 pro and switch. besides streaming and editing I don't think I'm gonna game very much on my actual pc since I am very much a console player but it would be nice.
