This is a somewhat old rig but I play games here so here I go!

Brief Story: I just want to run new games at a decent fps. In example Dark souls 3 (I have to admit that I have sinned, I got an "unnoficial" copy until there is a sale on steam). I have to play at a really low res with low graphics and it still struggles to run it.

Motherboard: Asus M4N68TM-LE (Don't know if V2)

Processor: AMD Athlon II x4 640 (3.0 GHz)

Ram: 6 GB.

OS: Windows 7 x64

And lastly my Current GPU: GeForce GT 520

I was thinking to upgrade to an GeForce 970 (I know its kind of an overkill and will cause a bottleneck for the pc but it will stay for any new upcoming rig)

I heard that new GPUs are coming in about 2 months and the older ones should drop in price. Is it worth the wait?
