Please build me a PC Primarily for VR

Title explains most of it, I'm looking to build a PC near purely to play in VR with but I have next to no experience with VR and as such would love any input into helping with the build. Secondarily it'll be for online school ( priorities amirite ).

Budget: N/A I plan on buying the parts one at a time so price isn't really a problem let's just not spend more than I did on my Jeep. Soft cap at $3000

OS: I'm a Windows man so whatever version of that comes recommended I'll go with.

Performance specs: I'd like it to run games / VR at high graphics with at least a stable 60 FPS preferable closer to 100

Style: If you feel up to it I'd prefer a sleek black case with a single glass panel to show off the internals and if lights are involved I'd love to see some deep purples and cobalt blues I love the cosmic vibes.
