ASUS ROG PG32UQX goes black for a few seconds and then comes back, seems to be monitor related, but only happens on my 3090, laptop hdmi is fine. Monitor menu disappears if it's open. only seems to happen in certain games. Ideas?

I've reset the monitor back to defaults, could there be a firmware update of some kind? Or could my 3090 cause some problems depending on its outputs? First screenshot shows it at black screen, second is with no display issue. I really hope I can fix this
