First time PC build, I don't know anything
Post Body

As the title says, this is my first time ever building a PC and I know literally nothing about it. I'll probably even have Micro Center actually assemble it for me because I don't want to bother. I want to ask in addition to the build parts, should I wait on any new hardware releases? I read that some people are waiting for the 5090 or 9800x3d. I can definitely wait a few months if it would be worth it.

  • New build or upgrade?

    • New build
  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse?

    • No
  • PC purpose?

    • Gaming (ideally a large variety with some large, graphically demanding games at the highest graphics/resolution settings) and running LLMs (large ones)
  • Purchase country? Near Micro Center?

    • USA, and I live near a Micro Center.
  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)

    • One monitor, 4K resolution. Not sure about size and refresh rate, so whatever you think would be optimal.
  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations)

    • $5000 (I can go a little higher though)
  • WiFi or wired connection?

    • Both
  • Size/noise constraints?

    • A little noise is fine, as long as it doesn't literally sound like it's going to blow up.
  • Color/lighting preferences?

    • No strict color preference, although white is nice. I'm a fan of colorful RGB lighting.
  • Any other specific needs?

    • Large storage amount preferably. I would also like a mouse and keyboard.
