$2500 full gaming PC holiday deals
Post Body

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.

No games in specific, just majority of the AAA titles, 1440-4k resolution trying to give it longer legs.

What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?

$2250-2500 maximum.

When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.

Parts obviously need to be ordered within the next couple of days, and as soon as they come in it will be built.

What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)

First off : this doesn't need to be flashy, if something is cheaper and also happens to be RBG so be it, but it is essentially zero value to me if it's colorful.

-KB M. Right-handed, number pad not necessary. Don't need a ton of macro stuff. No mega clacker keys (no reds basically). History of buying G502s for mice.

-Headset mic. Wireless or wired, not a big deal. Usually geared towards at least hyperX cloud quality.

-Monitor , 1440 minimum. Doesn't need to be OLED. 24 ish inches. Used to have Acer pred.

-ATX Tower I think? I was looking at LL mesh cools. I'm not strict on the tower size as long as it fits all of the parts with good air flow. Preferably not itx lol. Medium towers have done us well.

PSU: no preference, even though EVGA modulars have my heart.

Mobo: Wifi: not needed. Can't think of other specifics that typically categorize motherboards. Having 2 M.2s would be nice.

CPU : impartial CPU cooler : air cooled. GPU : impartial RAM: 32gb SSDs: preferably two, 2TB M.2s for boot library.

Don't need any disc drives, external audio dacs or any of that stuff.

Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?

NC. No. Would be Amazon/Newegg b h , best buy etc online sales for delivery.

If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.

Entirely new build.

Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?

No. It's going to a younger guy with no experience in that realm.

Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)

No. Just the two 2TB SSDs mentioned above.

Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?

Mid tower preferred. Does not HAVE to be fancy. History of Phanteks or LL. Windows are fine Indifferent about rgb.

Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?

Will need authentic windows. Could use key sites or whatever for easy US authentication.

**Extra info:

Buddy of mine (reddit illiterate) is asking that I help him find his kid a PC build - please don't choose anything that even has a chance of not fitting together easily as this will hopefully be a father / son building experience not a challenge. They have a desk, everything else will need to be supplied. If there's leftover change a mat or something like that would do. It's been a while since I've had to build a total PC and I'm not as good as it as I was before so I would really appreciate any input.
