Post Body

My friend has an hp prebuilt he got for Christmas a few year ago and asked me if I knew what he could upgrade to make it preform better. After talking we decided on adding more ram and possibly upgrading his gpu. He told me that he is looking at simply upgrading his gpu and adding the ram on a budget. We are trying to decide on an rx 6600, 6600 xt, or 6650 xt. The pc is limited to the current 400 watt psu and because of the oem motherboard upgrading the psu is out of the picture. Would we be able to run any of the gpus we are considering with the psu in the pc?

This is the ram we are planning to add: https://www.amazon.com/Silicon-Power-3200MHz-Heatsink-SP016GXLZU320BDAJ5/dp/B08QV1V17R/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=2CZG72C9D7TC6&keywords=silicon power&qid=1671227637&sprefix=silicon powe,aps,202&sr=8-5

For the gpus we are looking at asrock and xfx models as they are the cheapest
