This might be a dumb question for many veteran PC builders but I am not a veteran, I currently have a 12600K it was cheaper than a 12700 non k at the time when I bought it, and I am looking to upgrade at some point in the future to an i7 most likely, I mainly game on my PC I stream occasionally, and been wanting to start a youtube channel for some time now, I don't really care for overclocking my CPU, so I was thinking about upgrading to a non K 13700 or maybe a 13900, my main question is I can still overclock the RAM without having an unlocked CPU or is that a feature only for unlocked K/KF models?

I have looked this up on google and could never find a clear answer pertaining to what I was looking for.
