I built a PC with an i3 12100f. Right now I use the stock cooler but I think it is pretty loud. I want to replace it with a silent but not too pricey (I thought of MAX 40-50€, less preferred) aftermarket cooler. I want to have the possibility to swap my CPU with a new i5 13600k CPU in a year or so without having to replace the cooler again.
What cooler would you recommend? Should it be the Noctua NH U12 or is it overkill? I would also think about a Bequiet! Pure Rock 2, but I am not sure it will be enough for the i5. I've read the 13th gen is very warm. I won't OC. Also, I am limited in space since I wanted an MATX case. I have the CoolerMaster MasterBox Q300l and I am very happy with this case for now. It has space for a 159mm cooler, according to its website.
Thanks!
