So here's the build as of right now. I'm building this as a gaming and CAD rig for school. Already have a monitor and a 500 gb hd that i will be swapping in from an older computer. I'm getting the CPU and MOBO from microcenter from a good friend who lives near one and is willing to ship it to me. Got windows 7 ultimate brand new off craigslist, still sealed in plastic. Not 100 percent on the graphics card, as that will be the absolute last part I buy and i might change my mind.

Couple of Questions.
1. How does the rig look overall? 2. Any recommendations for changes? I want this to be a primarily good CAD machine, gaming is a close second, but is definitley not going to take precedent if it means losing ability to run programs. Went with the 7970 initially because what research ive done has shown it to be the best multimoniter card for the money for the time being. I could be wrong, feel free to correct me. 3. Sound card, should i get one? In the future this will hopefully be hooked up to a large flat screen, so i dont know if a sound card would be beneficial for the accompanying audio if i were to get a system beyond the tv speakers.
4. Fan controller. They look really cool to me, are they worth the money? 5. any room for saving money in here that i missed?
