No display after replacing cpu

Mobo: Asus Prime B350 Plus

GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 3060

Old CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700x

New CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600

I replaced my CPU and I'm not getting any display. I updated my BIOS and ensured that this CPU is compatible with my mobo. It boots just fine with my old CPU but when I install the new one, it doesn't show any display. I've reseated my RAM and reset the mobo battery. I'm not sure what else to do? Do I just have a bad CPU? I'm considering returning it and buying another of the same sort, just to see if that's the issue or not. If it fails again after that I may just buy a new mobo but on paper this CPU should work just fine.
