Most sensible upgrade?
Post Body

Hey Y'alll,

I've been poking around for a site to help recommend sensible upgrade paths. Seems like there isn't a good site out there. But I'm hoping a discussion here can help! Please see below for my current setup upgrades I've done thus far and my use case for the PC.

My current build:

Asus Prime Z370-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Intel Core i7-8700K (Overclocked to 5.0Ghz)

Corsair H100x 57.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

Zotac GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8 GB GAMING AMP Holo Video Card

EVGA G3 750 W 80 Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Display:

LG UltraGear 34GP83A-B 34 Inch 21:9 Curved QHD (3440 x 1440) 160HZ

My storage needs are met with an NVME for boot drive and a few ssds a NAS. My use case is primarily gaming and video editing. It's been more gaming nowadays and the few video projects here and there. Over the past few months, I've done some cooling upgrades simply because I wanted to see how much of an overclock I can get. And because the learning process was a lot of fun. I delid my CPU and went with liquid metal, and got a new cooler (100x), all this helped get my temps really low. Idle - around 35-40 degrees C and under load mad 85 degrees C.

Edit: I also replaced the thermal pads in my GPU and the thermal paste in my GPU and am getting temps well below 100 under load and during game play.

Now, the problem. I'm a stickler for getting the most I can out of all my components and I feel like I'm not getting that. PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong and feel free to use your words to slap me back to reality. With my current setup, I think I should be able to play Call of Duty: Warzone at 2K and get over at least 140fps consistently. Instead, I get around 100-120 and some locations on the map are even below 100fps. I just want to be able to use my monitor to its full extent.

As I said, I really enjoy the learning and tweaking testing process so I'm happy to take suggestions on that department as well. Software configuration fixes are welcomed. So are hardware upgrades. ... Let say my budget is around $300. What would be the best bang for my buck upgrade to my PC?

Thank you for your help!
