Edit: what I am effectively asking is if upgrading ram without a cpu upgrade would offer a visible difference to gaming and obs performance. And/or if upgrading the cpu/mb without ram upgrade would see reduced performance vs having higher hz ram
So like 5 years ago I made my second pc, and this one went "all out". Buying the best cpu for the socket, 32gb of ddr4, and a 2070 cuz 2080 was too much haha. But I never really thought about what the frequency of my ram was, back then all I thought about was the amount. So obviously I got 2400hz because it was the cheapest. So now current me, looking to upgrade my cpu, and being required to get another motherboard as well is thinking how much does 32gb of 2400hz ram harm your performance compared to say 16gb of 3600hz? Is it worth upgrading that before buying a new cpu? Will it help at all? Tarkov is tough on your system haha
