I finally got all of the parts in for my first build. A lot of time spent trying to get the right parts for what I wanted to do.
One part I wanted was the Liquid Freezer II 280 A-RGB AIO. I made sure to measure things out, getting low profile ram and finding a case with dimensions to work within. When putting together, it was the MOBO's I/O Cover that seems to be the conflict...just barely. The corner of the AIO hits it and the cover is in just the right spot that I cannot fit all of the screws for the AIO in place. Pictures of the point of contact are here.
So wondering on opinions. I could move the AIO up to the front of the case instead of the top. Or I could remove the I/O cover, which seems to serve little more than a decorative purpose and would be easy to remove based on this video.
If moved to the front, I would be moving two 120 fans from the front to the top.
Thoughts or Advice?
