Replacement card for on-board Wifi?

Hello, I have the Asus ROG Strix z590-e Gaming Wifi Motherboard and the onboard wifi on it is absolutely fantastic, when it works. The onboard Wifi device has been having issues and I have troubleshot and ultimately decided to get a PCIe Wifi Card.

Are there any recommendations for a good Wifi card that would offer similar if not exact performance? I currently have the MSI Dual band 802.11ac card in my computer as something just to have wifi and it's about 1/10 as good as the onboard card.

I know absolutely nothing when it comes to Wifi and Bluetooth and would absolutely love some recommendations.
