I recently completed a new build about a month or so give or take. I went all out overall I spent about $9,000 in hardware the last time I did a build was about 17 years ago as a teenager when I use to play Counterstrike professionally traveling on weekends to different states with my team for tournaments. So you know the first thing I did when the build was completed was go ahead and play CSGO it was a little frustrating because I felt like my shots weren’t registering, I didn’t think too much of it and just chalked it off to the fact that I just suck after not playing for almost 20 years. So today for an unrelated matter I went and enabled the Asus AI to overclock my CPU, then an Nvidia Driver update was installed and I using the EVGA Precision X1 software did the “scan” and after it was completed, I think it automatically went ahead and did a overclock on my GPU using it’s recommended settings for the OC. I had some free time, and I went ahead and played some CSGO again and my experience was a completely different thing this time it was absolutely the smoothest gameplay in any PC game I ever had hands down. I’m not saying my aim was all of sudden better, but it felt like a $9,000 rig was doing its job. My questions are we know what changes happened beforehand that I made but I just want to know why with these changes my experience with the game is completely different and why would it perform this way with those changes and not with the default settings. Here are my hardware components anyways any answers would be greatly appreciated so I can educate myself to avoid these inconveniences
