As you may already have seen this kind of question has been asked before but I feel like nobody received a good answer yet, plus my situation is a bit different.

I'm finally looking to upgrade my Tomahawk B450, Ryzen 5 2600 and RX 580 8 GB setup. Im looking to upgrade my pc solely for gaming and occasional streaming (every 2 months).

I am not sure in which direction to go though. The budget can be ignored but keep it reasonable.

My first idea is to go for a Ryzen r5 5600X and upgrade to an nvidia 3060 GPU. Im not sure if the choice of GPU is good though.

I had another idea of possibly swapping out my motherboard and going intel, but the cpu options are so large that I don't even know where to start here.

Any kind of feedback that will help me decide is welcome. Do I wait and not upgrade yet? Is the path I chose to go with the 5600X and 3060 the right one or is it not? Do I just go for intel and switch the motherboard as well?
