Trying to figure out where to start my upgrades, CPU GPU or somewhere else. I am currently looking at a AMD Ryzen 7 3700X AM4

Post Body

I am currently looking at a AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-corse 3.6 Ghz (4.4 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 65W 100-100000071BOX, but feel like it may be overkill for my current system.

Device name DESKTOP-HVMCE4B

Processor AMD Ryzen 3 3100 4-Core Processor 3.59 GHz

Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)

Product ID 00326-10000-00000-AA611

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Motherboard: Asus Prime - B550 Plus

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660 Super

Not sure if you need details on the ram i have installed currently but i have two of the below 8g sticks

TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 16GB Kit (2x8GB) 3200MHz (PC4-25600) CL16 Desktop Memory Module Ram (Red)

16GB (8GBx2) - 3200MHz C16-18-18-38

is it in my best interest to upgrade my GPU before the CPU or vice versa. I also have two monitors one at 144hz 1080p and 1 at 60hz 4k.

I am currently playing games like Smite, WoW, Destiny 2, and some Valorant here and there as well as a few others.
