X570 mobo RAM problem

Post Body

Hi guys,

Specs:

  • MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI (bios ver. 1.60)
  • Ryzen 7 3700X
  • 2 x 8GB G.skill Aegis 3000MHz RAM
  • MSI RTX 2070 ARMOR 8GB

I am having a really weird problem. It started about a month ago. Just suddenly out of nothing my PC didn't start. The EZ debug led DRAM was shining. I checked if the RAMs are well connected and then tested both sticks separately. One wasn't working at all the other was fine. I though my RAM died and send it back on warranty and got new ones and forgot about the problem. Today it happened again. I was working on my computer and suddenly my PC rebooted and again EZ debug led DRAM was shining. I checked again as the first time and with both sticks put in the PC won't boot (sometimes the bios begins booting but it boots to dark screen and the ez debug led). When I put in one stick it boots randomly. Sometimes the leds shines sometimes it boots to windows. It is the same for both RAMs. When it works I used MemTest for both sticks and it didn't show any errors. Then I ran a CPU stress test - again no errors found. I think the problem is with the power supply of the RAM section. Maybe you have some advice because I run out of diagnostic tools.

Thanks for any help
