Bad fps and stuttering after installing ssd

Post Body

My friend had got a new ssd(Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SATA Internal Solid State Drive) Struggled to get windows from the original hard drive installed onto the ssd, had to take hard drive out and put in a usb install windows on the ssd

She eventually got it installed but now when she plays games the games have an awful frame rate and drops, Really bad lag and stutters. Games like apex has 30-50 fps when she would have 80 before. Overwatch would be over 200fps and now she gets 60-100 with stutters and frame drops. The games are pretty unplayable because of the lag is so bad and noticeable

Here (https://imgur.com/a/mQketvD) are her specs as well she shouldn't have such bad fps playing these games and had decent frames before

The only we have gotten is norton said that overwatch had high cpu usage while playing, other than that no idea other than the somewhat struggle to install windows on the ssd.

Any idea what could of happened/what is happening and what we could do to fix it would be super appreciated.
