Question about 4k monitors + monitor recommendation

Post Body

I'm thinking about getting a couple new monitors for my WFH/Gaming setup. main gaming monitor will be 1440p/144hz and secondary one (mainly for video playback like youtube, netflix, etc.) will be 4k/60hz. Both will be 27" displays.

My question is will video playback look weird on the 4k monitor? Like on youtube for example, you can set the resolution to 1080p. So will the video be distorted because of pixel stretching (something I read while doing research... not sure if it's the right term) or will it look like a normal video?

Also looking for recommendations for each monitor. Pretty new to buying monitors. Just built a fantastic PC and I'm holding back the potential by using 2 24" 1080p/60hz monitors that are ~5 years old. My budget for both monitors is ~$1000 Canadian but can be stretched if there's one that's really worth the extra money.

Cheers everyone!
