I got a new ram kit a few days ago going from 2x4gb of ddr4 2400mhz to 2x8gb 3200mhz. I had some trouble getting it to post with the new ram but when I switched back to the old ram it was fine. It got the new ram working but it is very unstable eg: the CPU fan would spin for a second and then stop and after holding the power button it would work fine. Now it has been getting worse by going into a boot loop and showing the american megatrends screen as if it has never seen this ram before. I have no idea if this is a hardware or software problem. I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a Asus b450-i motherboard. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
