desktop small form factor pc vs gaming laptop electricity cost per month or per year?

hello, I am still thinking about buying a new computer, but the more I think about it, the more confused I am. I have a budget of 1000$ Iand it seems that small form factor pc is better performance wise. but, I go back and forth quite often, i need my rig somewhat protable. i can buy second monitor and mouse and keyboard. but now i think about energy consumption of a desktop, i need to run it about 15 hours a day, most of it just browser. how much electricity cost will be?
