100hz vs 144hz

Is there a massive difference in performance? Iād be coming from a 2 24ā 1080p/60hz monitors to 1 34ā 1440p/100hz or 144hz monitor. Iām wondering if the upgrade from 100hz to 144hz is worth the upgrade.
The monitors Iām looking at are actually the same monitor model with different refresh rates. All the other specs are the exact same.
