my boyfriend has an old hp prodesk 600 G2 that’s running linux mint cinnamon. it’s got a shit wifi adapter that won’t even connect to the wifi let alone actually allow him to use the internet or anything. it’s definitely not a problem with the wifi or the router itself, it’s very high speed internet and all other devices are working. i don’t know much about computer hardware but my conclusion is that it’s a problem with the shitty wifi adapter. can anyone recommend a good wifi adapter that they’re sure will be functional with that version of linux? any suggestions are appreciated!
