Saving up for high end VR build
Post Body

Build Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Ofc!

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

I am looking for a (somewhat) future-proof, high end VR gaming machine. Accompanied by a Valve Index, I want a computer that will allow me to have current-gen VR experiences in high quality, and also allow me to experience the evolution of VR in the coming years. Preferably without having to upgrade parts come December 2021.

This is a big investment for me, as a poor student, and I am willing to save up a little longer to make it more future proof.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

HL:Alyx on Ultra, min 90fps would be a good starting point.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

$3000-4000

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

Denmark

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Provide any additional details you wish below.

I noticed the wattage was a lot lower than the PSU I had picked when I started working on this build. I'm sure there was a good reason for that. Maybe you guys can spot why I might've picked it - I'm not big into overclocking - but I'm letting it stand for now.

Budget includes the price of the Valve Index and shipping parts to DK, meaning im already at $3612,89
