Post Body

Hello everyone,

So I've gotten some extra money and am interested in seeing if there are any parts I should currently upgrade for a noticeable gain in performance for my gaming PC. I am planning on upgrading my HDD to an SSD and upgrading my 1080p 75Hz monitor to a 1440p 144Hz monitor. I am thinking of holding off on upgrading my video card if there isn't too big of a performance bump in upgrading. What are your thoughts on my current build and is there anything worth upgrading right now? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Current Build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 2.8 GHz 6-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: CRYORIG M9i 48.4 CFM CPU Cooler

Motherboard: Gigabyte B360M DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Memory: G.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory

Video Card: GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition Video Card

Power Supply: SuperNOVA G3 550 W 80 Gold Certified

Planned Upgrades:

Storage: Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2TB 2.5 Inch

Monitor: VIOTEK GNV32DB 32-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor
