My friend is looking to upgrade his pc. He is as clueless as me when choosing what parts to upgrade or which parts to buy. He has run several games without much issue, but when playing Escape from Tarkov he encountered issues. He is looking to begin the upgrade process. I was informed most will need replacing, probably starting with processor, motherboard, and ram. I talked to him after my last post and got a budget. He has $150-$160 to spend right now. Most likely thats $160 max, with taxes included.
Where should I have him start? Is his budget enough to start buying things right now? Or does he need to set it aside and save more. I'm not sure when he will have additional funds, so if there is anything that can be done with what he has he would be greatly appreciative of your help.
Here is the info I have for his current setup:
-Amd FX 4300
-ATX AMD 760G
-1tb HDD
-8gb RAM DDR3
- AMD Radeon RX 460 4gb
Thank you for your help!
