We are biting the bullet and finally going to build a family gaming PC.
What is your intended use for this build?
We would like to game at at least 60fps, 1080p, and max settings. Mostly local gaming, but some online stuff. (no competitive gaming)
We also like to watch videos in 2k/4k (already have a 4k monitor) and do some scientific/data analysis graphics (Mathematica, Matlab, Python, R, etc.)
Budget
$1,5k-2k. Family hasn't had a decent gaming PC in a long while so we need to purchase some accessories as well (keyboard, mouse, etc.) Last few years we have been gaming on a Razer Blade laptop.
Country
Spain. We might have to reconfigure some things depending on the availability or price of getting some parts here.
known issues
PCPartPicker warns me that
The Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI ATX LGA1151 Motherboard has an additional 4-pin ATX power connector but the Corsair CXM 550 W 80 Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply does not. This connector is used to supply additional 12V current to the motherboard. While the system will likely still run without it, higher current demands such as extreme overclocking or large video card current draws may require it.
Since this is my first build, I don't really know what that means.
