The computer is crashing at random. It began a couple weeks ago, and the parts i've replaced since its started happening is the GPU (planned upgrade before crashing), RAM, PSU, new SSD (also planned upgrade before crashing). When it crashes, either the screen freezes, and my K55 RGB will stop in its tracks for the color fades. It will stay like this till I force shut it off, or it will cut completely off, and when it does that, the power button is flashing, screen off, but the fans in the case/on the gpu are still on and spinning. Another odd issue its had for awhile, and long before crashing, is the PC wouldnt fully power down, so its been running for the past couple years consistently. Fans stay powered and spinning, but it acts like its off. It still currently does this even with a new psu, boot drive, etc. I'm thinking at this point it could possibly be the motherboard due to how long it had been running for. The crashes happen randomly. Sometomes it happens with only my browser being open and attempting to watch a video, or sometimes it will happen when im doing more such as running my bukkit server, tabs in browser open, minecraft open, etc. It seems to not matter how much stress I could be putting on the PC, be it alot or very little, it crashes randomly and no way to tell when it will or if its about to crash.
List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
Replaced PSU due to believing it could be a power issue (due to flashing power button, and the original psu I had was 6yrs old).
I appreciate any help that could be given with this! The mobo, 3TB, cpu, and cooler are all original to the build, going on a little over 5yrs old.
