Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Medium/High Settings Gaming.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

1440p. 60 FPS in modern games. Maybe even less, I find I've never really been sensitive to FPS. High Settings

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

Differing import fees makes it hard to compare properly to USD. Lets say I could go 10-15% more than the build I've got so far, if I get real added value.

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

South Africa

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Does everything look reasonably balanced?

I was also considering the 9700k, but in terms of gaming I don't think it would make an appreciable difference, especially since I don't plan to overclock. Correct?

Hoping for a relatively quiet build. Is the case ok? I was also look at CoolerMasters H500 series. Any recommendations for a cpu cooler, or would stock be ok? Don't want liquid cooling. Antec and CoolerMaster are the most accessible Brands for me.

Unfortunately I'm not that clued up on motherboards anymore, I'm not sure if the one I chose will support all the components correctly (nVME at full PCI speeds?). I was also considering the ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-F, but I'm not sure if thats overkill? If neither is suitable, any other recommendations, and any key words/features I should look out for?

For storage internal drives, is it better to get a 4TB or 2x2 TB (just for space, I don't plan to RAID)?

Appreciate any and all help! Thanks.
