Will the fx 8320e work?

So i've had this pc for quite a while and i wanted to upgrade my cpu after my gpu because they were not up to par and i got the cpu and inputted the cpu in and tried to turn on the pc it would turn on but wouldn't wanna turn on the monitor nor the peripherals the motherboard i have is the gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3 r2 and idk if its because the motherboard is outdated or if its due to the cpu being doa is anyone able to help me out? please and thank you
