A friend of mine is trying to a build a PC dedicated to streaming on a budget. He plays his games off of a PS4 and wants to stream it to his PC with his elgato capture card.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

He wants to be able to stream max 1080p 60fps.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

Max $600 not including monitor and peripherals.

To try to get the most performance for his budget, I was thinking about getting him a Ryzen processor since it would be great for streaming. The one I selected has 4 cores not 6 cores, and I was thinking that so he can take advantage of the Vega graphics built in and not purchase a dedicated GPU with the 2400G model. Is that good logic to use when his pc is for streaming and basic tasks?

I do not know much about dedicated streaming PCs on a budget so any help is appreciated.
