Build Help/Ready:

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Planning to use this for heavy gaming (AAA releases), photo-editing (Photoshop/Lightroom; with an interest in moving into some video in the future), and programming (VirtualMachines)

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

I'm looking at getting a 1440p 144hz monitor, so I'd like to get the most out of that. 1080p @ 60fps at max settings is the absolute floor I'm aiming for, with a good number of games being able to run 1440p @ 144fps.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

~$1500, ideally. But I have some wiggle room to spend a little extra, if needed.

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

US

Provide any additional details you wish below.

Planning on having a 3 monitor setup to go along with this build. Only 1 will be used for gaming.

My biggest question mark is the graphics card, imo. I've gone back and forth between the 1070, 2070, 1080ti, 2080.

I'm pretty patient so I'm very comfortable waiting a few months to get each of these parts on sale, and hopefully save a few more dollars.

This is my very first build so any help on if I'm missing anything or if there are any compatibility issues that PCPP didn't pick up on would be greatly appreciated.
