Bought RAM, Faster than MoBo?

So I’m not certain this matters or not. I took advantage of a Newegg deal yesterday and got myself 2 sticks of 8gb DDR4-3600 RAM. I haven’t bought the motherboard I have on my parts list, but I just noticed that it says it has support for up to 3466MHz. (MoBo in question is the MSI B450 Tomahawk AM4 ATX Motherboard)

If I use the RAM I have with it, will it still be compatible? If it is, will it just be limited to 3466? Should I find a different motherboard to make the best use of my RAM?
