Best compact option for gaming, even barebone?
Post Body

Hi all,

So I was looking for compact solutions, I am someone moving a lot and I wanted to have something for gaming that wouldn't take too much room and would be transportable, the thing is I don't need a portable computer that would weigh a lot and not much less than a static option for much lesser quality screen options.

My goal would be to have something performing at 1440p with a target of 60FPS.

So my two options are

1) Going with a mini ITX built on a 2070/AMD equivalent (got to admit I am a bit out of the game right now but re-educating myself) basis (even earlier gen might still do to an extend) which would be heavier but then I would put already a CPU in there that I would like, but then I would be sacrificing mobility and weight.

2) Going barebone with something similar to a Zotac Zbox EK51070 or ER51070 and having the tradeoff of something lightweight but more expensive for the performance... especially because I like to do photo and video editing and then I would see a drastic difference...

I am quite torn in-between the two and quite frankly would welcome any ideas or advises from people around here.

Thanks people!
