MB for Ryzen

I'm looking to start my next build in the coming months, and am leaning heavily on the notion of a Ryzen processor. I've checked a few compatibility checker websites, and it seems that most MB's come with a warning regarding a needed bios update - and that I may need to update the bios with a different processor first. I'd like to avoid this, but I'm also on a tight budget. (I'll be putting this build together piecemeal, part by part, over time.)
Any recommendations?
