A week ago, I had a short circuit (6cm spark) near ATX power on my mobo which tripped the home circuit breaker. I suspect it was due to bad grounding in my home which has been fixed now but I can't be 100% sure it was the cause. I have since replaced the MSI mobo with ASRock Z370 Fatality K6.

I have tested my SSD and hard disk with an enclosure and both are working fine. Any advice on how should I proceed with further testing?

E: Also, I got a small dot of thermal paste on CPU while removing it, what should I do about it? https://imgur.com/csx36X7
