Building for my little cousin on a very, very tight budget.

Post Body

My little cousin wants a ā€œgamingā€ computer for $100. Heā€™s an interesting little character. I have a lot of used parts including an old dell optiplex with an i5-2400 and 8 gigs of ram, but it doesnā€™t have a case as it is currently mounted to a piece of wood. Iā€™m guessing he doesnā€™t want to get a piece of wood and I kind of ripped apart the case to try and fit in a standard power supply. I also have an old shuttle with a core2 quad (6600?) in it and 8 gigs of ram. This has a case that can fit a full sized graphics card and has a 400w psu (I think). I think he might want a case but the i5 performs better and I donā€™t want to make him have a bad experience. I can supply a 500gb hdd, cpu, mobo, and ram. I need some advice on what graphics card to get as I plan to either use the psu in the shuttle (core2 system) or get a $20 non modular 80 psu. Any advice is very welcome. If anyone needs proof of these systems I can provide pictures and time stamps.
