MoBo just broke, need advice on new MoBo
Post Body
Recently my motherboard broke when I was installing my new AMD FX 8350 processor, so now I'm not sure if I want to do a full rebuild or just get a new board for my gaming rig.
Current Specs:
- Amd FX-8350
- XFX Radeon GTR 480 8GB GPU
- Corsair CX550 power supply
- Digital Storm 8GB DDR3 RAM
- Digital Storm Case
So, I just bought the FX 8350, but since my board is toast, I am debating on switching to an Intel board and then selling the old processors.
Should I keep the 8350, or go Intel? And either way, what board should I buy?
I'm not against upgrading to DDR4 if I have to, but I don't want to spend more than $500.
