My husband deserves a gaming PC, but I’m kind of lost in so much information.

Post Body

Hey! My husband is a great man with bad luck, and recently some bad wiring from a reptile tank sparked and caught his computer desk on fire. No part from his gaming pc was salvageable except for some of the peripherals. His birthday is coming up and I’d really like to surprise him with a new computer, but this isn’t my area of expertise. I know the rules say to have a build in mind, but the only thing I can find info on are prebuilt computers and someone suggested I try here because he might get more bang for his buck. I’m looking to spend around $1,000 on the computer itself. He really likes to play Overwatch and league of legends. We have Xbox and PS4’s for other games so I don’t know what all past those two he’d really be playing, but I’d like him to always have the option.

I found this one: https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/Big-Game-Special-II

Is that worth the price? I’m afraid if I just give him the money he will save it and not get what he wants because he’s too good of a guy.

Any help anyone can give me is so very much appreciated! Have a good day :)

Edit: thank everyone so much for the help! I’ve decided I’m going to lean towards a cheaper computer that he can add what he wants to it later, and a new monitor and headset. I really appreciate the kind words and suggestions and I wanted to wish everyone a good day!
