Plan to buy new motherboard and processor, will my old parts still be viable?

Post Body

My motherboard just died a while ago while my processor was fairly old already. Since I have some money with me, I plan to buy a new motherboard and processor.

Which AMD Ryzen is good for gaming purposes? Which one is decently good with a fair amount of price?

However, I also have an old working Asus GTX 750TI Strix OC. I'm not that tech savvy individual so what I would also like to ask is if it were fine to use the GPU for the new CPU for the mean time before I purchase a new one?

Also, will my Raider 550w suffice this setup?
