Provide any additional details you wish below.
I'm currently running on a ten-year-old machine, and I can hold off on upgrading the external portions of my rig (headset, keyboard, monitor, mouse, chair) for later dates.
As to vendors, I selected only Amazon and Newegg as those are the only two I really recognise and trust for PC kit. Suggestions on other trustworthy vendors that are listed on PCPP would be welcome as well (and may help me reduce my price)
I don't require ultra settings on any of the games I play, and don't absolutely require 60FPS, but that would be nice.
When I set up the system I'll be arranging it such that the home directories (C:\users
), and if possible the swapfile, is on the spinning rust, and not on the SSD. Steam libraries will be present on both drives.
