AMD CPU + Nvidia GPU

Post Body

Hey,

I currently have an i5-3750K @4.2GHz and a GTX 970. While the combo still runs fine for the most part the GPU starts to bottleneck in newer high end games and the 970 isn't to my full satisfaction animore either. I'm planning on getting a new GPU next year, if the rumors about a pascal refresh are true and I want a new CPU as well. Now I've heard Zen will be pretty competitive at a great price. I'm just wondering will there be any downsides to using an AMD CPU with a Nvidia card compared to using an Intel CPU?
